I'm New!
What you can expect...

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We know it can be somewhat “intimidating” to walk into a church for the first time, even if you’re used to church life! While that may be a fact of life, it doesn’t have to be a deterrent to making that step because you WILL be welcomed without being overwhelmed!

Most likely, your first visit will be on a Sunday morning and if you have a family with children up to age 11, please be sure to look to your right in the foyer when you walk in for Pastor Dave, our Family Life Pastor. He will get your children quickly registered for Children’s Church or Nursery and at a point during the service, the Children will be dismissed for service on their level with Pastor Dave. (This is optional as some parents may wish to keep their children with them, at least until they become used to their surroundings.)

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
You will see that some of the congregation will dress casually, and others will be in “dress up” mode. Please don’t allow the well-worn statement to keep you away from a church which is: “I don’t have anything to wear”. (Surely you have something to wear!)

WHAT IS THE SERVICE LIKE?
You will find our services to be filled with vibrant worship music which is led by our Worship Pastor, Justin Gruber. We believe the Bible is clear that it’s “ok” to praise God by clapping our hands and/or lifting our hands in worship. Words are projected on the screen to enable the worshipper to become more involved in worship without having a hymn book or chorus book to fumble with. Most of the music is on the contemporary side, with some of the hymns mixed in as well.

The moment you walk in the doors, you will be welcomed by our Greeters who will be able to assist you with any questions you may have. They will also hand you a bulletin which is filled with announcements about upcoming events. If you arrive between 9:30 and 10:15, we would encourage you to go to the left of the foyer where you will find free coffee and refreshments available. (We do ask that refreshments stay outside the Sanctuary).

The service usually lasts from 10:30 – 12:00, however, we do not allow the clock to dictate our services. We allow the Spirit of God to move and at times, it could go beyond this time frame.
