Greetings in Christ!

As we celebrate Resurrection Sunday 2021, I'm reminded once again that we truly serve the one true Savior of the World!

The Resurrection is the distinct difference between Christianity and all the other religions of the world. Jesus Christ is the only one who ever lived a perfect, sinless life and even though He was nailed to an "old rugged cross" on Friday and buried in a borrowed tomb, Sunday was coming!

"Veni, Vidi, Vici" means “I Came, I Saw, I Conquered” and is a famous Latin sentence reportedly written by Julius Caesar in 47 BC as a comment on his short war with Pharnaces II of Pontus in the city of Zela.

On a far grander scale than a "short war", Jesus Christ came to this world from the glorious presence of the Father. Then, He saw not with just physical eyes around Him, but with eyes of love and compassion for the rejected and downtrodden of society. Finally, He conquered "death, hell and the grave" and right now, He lives to intercede for us before the Father!

The Bible says in John 10:10 (NKJV) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.

This past year has been challenging for the World, our Nation, our communities, and of course, our Churches, yet here we are ready to worship our risen Savior! For those of us who know Jesus personally, it is far more than a "once-a-year" event but it's something we celebrate on a daily basis!

I would like to invite you and yours to join us for Resurrection Sunday on April 4th at 10:30 AM. While the absolute best experience is worshiping with our church family in person, we also do make our services available online at

In addition to an exciting worship service led by Pastor Justin Gruber and the worship team, we are going to hear the Children share some singing as Pastor Dave Banks and the team lead them! I (Pastor Lawrence) will share a message of Resurrection and hope as well, titled "He came, He saw, He conquered!

It's going to be a great day, so be sure to make plans to join us!

Blessings in Christ,
Pastor Lawrence
